Job summary

Mercy is seeking experienced Labor and Delivery Nurses to join the Birthing Center team. You will apply the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinate with departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality.

Maintain accountability in alignment with Mercy Service Standards and values. Join a caring, collaborative team at Mercy, where you’ll contribute to high-quality obstetric care, support families, and work within a facility that includes advanced units like a Level III NICU

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited school
• Current RN license in state of licensure or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support certification required by American Heart Association

Position Details:

Mercy Joplin's Birthing Center offers 15 suites designed for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum periods. We have 2 fully equipped OR rooms within the Birthing Center, along with a Level III NICU to offer the region’s best care for premature or critically ill infants.

Seeking experienced L&D Nurses

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
