Job summary

Mercy Joplin’s Birthing Center seeks experienced NICU/L&D RNs to join our team. You will provide skilled nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum patients, while upholding patient rights and Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, an RN license (state or compact) and BLS certification. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, sign-on and relocation incentives to support your transition.

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details

Mercy Joplin’s Birthing Center offers 15 suites designed for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum periods. We have 2 fully equipped OR rooms within the Birthing Center, along with a Level III NICU to offer the region’s best care for premature or critically ill infants.

Seeking experienced NICU/L&D RN's
