Mercy Joplin’s Birthing Center is seeking experienced L&D nurses to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care using the nursing process. This role supports labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum patients in a 15-suite unit with two ORs and a Level III NICU.

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Mercy Joplin’s Birthing Center offers 15 suites designed for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum periods. We have 2 fully equipped OR rooms within the Birthing Center, along with a Level III NICU to offer the region’s best care for premature or critically ill infants.
