Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Springfield, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.

The role is nights, 36 hours per week, with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000. BSN strongly preferred; state RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP may be required based on patient population. Critical care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program and licensed in state of practice.
• BSN preferred and strongly considered for consideration.
• Critical Care experience preferred for ED rotations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on acute patient care at the bedside.
• Provide care in the Emergency Department during night shifts.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient safety.
