Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN - Labor and Delivery in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with a 7pm–7:30am shift and every third weekend/holiday rotation. A $25,000 sign-on bonus applies for a minimum of 18 months labor and delivery experience.

The position requires an Associate's degree or BSN, IL licensure, and CPR certification, with at least 1 year in Labor and Delivery. PTO, benefits, and competitive pay are included.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and care teams in person, over the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing quality and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
