Job summary

Endeavor Health currently seeks an RN – Labor and Delivery in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with shifts 7pm–7:30am and every third weekend/holiday rotation.

A $25,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this position. The RN will perform patient assessments, plan of care, and provide education to patients and families while ensuring high-quality, safe care. Full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year current experience in Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and health care team in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing standards, laws and regulations.
