Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Temple is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery department. The role covers night shifts from 7p to 7a, joining a multidisciplinary team in a Magnet-recognized, Level IV maternal care setting with about 300 births per month.

The position offers full benefits from day one and a collaborative environment in a teaching hospital with residents. Strong patient care and teamwork are essential to our success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited RN program.
• RN license currently active.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for labor and delivery patients.
• Develop and adjust care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and expectations.
• Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and ensure patient safety.
