Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health Marble Falls seeks a Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit to oversee patient care, perform assessments, and develop care plans in accordance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act.

We operate our own L&D OR and recovery area, with designation standards and a strong teamwork culture. The role offers a nights schedule, competitive unit benefits, and ongoing professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
• Use problem-solving strategies with patients, families, and staff.
• Work with colleagues to create a care plan.
