Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health Temple is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on the part-time nights shift 7p-7a. Join a magnet-recognized, Level IV maternal care team of highly skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment with 12 L&D rooms, 5 antepartum, 3 OR and 4 OB ED rooms.

You will provide patient assessments, care planning, education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, while adhering to the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited RN Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing
• RN license
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role
• 1 Year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery Required

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care in Labor and Delivery using a professional practice model.
• Provide patient assessment, recognize health issues, create and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients and families; delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
