Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery. You will oversee patient care in a team-based environment, perform assessments, develop and adjust care plans, and support families through labor and postpartum processes.

Responsibilities include patient education, coordination with the care team, and adherence to nursing standards and privacy rules. Night shifts run 7pm-7am, with full-time 3x12-hour schedules and benefits in place.

Qualifications

• RN license and accredited nursing program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create care plans.
• Educate patients and families to support understanding of health needs.
• Delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.
• Ensure safety and quality in patient care planning and delivery.
