Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Temple is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery on the night shift (7p-7a). The RN will coordinate care using the BSWH nursing practice model, balance patient needs, and support a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited RN Program.
• RN experience in Labor and Delivery or LDRP is required.
• BLS certification or equivalent is expected.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care delivery by the health care team.
• Assess patient and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Promote safe passage for patients and prevent delays or complications.
• Delegate interventions based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act and competencies.
• Participate in governance, committees, and quality improvement initiatives.
