Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. You will provide preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based on individual needs and work with a dedicated team that values patient care as highly as you do.

You will communicate with physicians, respond rapidly to changes in condition, and maintain accurate patient charts.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Current Nevada RN license to practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• NRP certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience or completion of L&D course at Southern Hills Hospital.

Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs and are looking for a team member who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. • You will communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition
• You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure
• You will perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.
• You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts
• You will participate in performance improvement activities
• You will act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent
• Current license to practice as a registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
• Current BLS required
• NRP required (within 90 days of hire/transfer)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (within 90 days of hire)
• Minimum 1-year recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience, in a comparable or more active unit or completion of Labor and Delivery course at Southern Hills Hospital, including surgical suite
