Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery in Ganado, AZ. The role involves providing nursing care through labor, delivery, recovery and the immediate postpartum period, with continuous maternal and fetal monitoring and newborn care.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with L&D experience and RN licensure in the state. BLS and NRP certifications are required, and you will support families throughout the birth experience

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery and recovery.
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret fetal heart rate tracings.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and oxytocin per physician orders.
• Assist during vaginal and operative deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
• Recognize obstetric and neonatal emergencies and initiate intervention.
• Provide postpartum care, newborn assessment, feeding support and discharge education.

Education & Experience

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required
