Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery in Glendale, AZ. The role provides care to laboring patients and newborns throughout antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, monitors maternal and fetal well-being, and supports families through the delivery process.

Requirements include an RN license in the state, BLS, and NRP certification. A minimum 1-2 years of labor and delivery experience is preferred, with additional OB certifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of labor and delivery or obstetric nursing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitors maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate patterns throughout labor.
• Administers medications, including oxytocin and pain management, per physician orders.
• Assists with vaginal deliveries and provides support during cesarean sections.
• Provides immediate newborn assessment and care following delivery.
• Educates patients and families on labor progress, pain management, and postpartum recovery.
• Recognizes and responds to obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage or fetal distress.

Job Summary

Education & Experience

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Required)

• Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) certification (Preferred)
