Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate obstetric care across labor, delivery, recovery and the immediate postpartum period, including newborn care.

The role requires graduate of accredited nursing program and L&D experience, and requires RN licensure in the state of practice with BLS and NRP certifications.

You will monitor patients, administer meds, assist during deliveries, provide education and discharge planning in a fast‑paced maternity setting.

Qualifications

• Labor and delivery or obstetric nursing experience: Required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery and recovery.
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret fetal heart rate tracings.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and oxytocin or other agents per physician orders.
• Assist the provider during vaginal and operative deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
• Recognize obstetric and neonatal emergencies and initiate appropriate intervention.
• Provide postpartum care, newborn assessment, feeding support and discharge education.

Job Summary

Provides nursing care to obstetric patients through labor, delivery, recovery and the immediate postpartum period, and to newborns following birth. Performs continuous maternal and fetal monitoring, recognizes complications and intervenes appropriately. Supports patients and families throughout the birth experience and provides newborn and postpartum education.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required
