Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery and newborn care in a hospital setting in the United States. The role requires expertise in maternal and fetal monitoring, medication administration, and postpartum education.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with L&D/obstetric experience and holds an active RN license, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess obstetric patients through labor, delivery and recovery.
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret fetal heart rate tracings.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and oxytocin per orders.
• Assist during vaginal and operative deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
• Recognize obstetric and neonatal emergencies and initiate intervention.
• Provide postpartum care, newborn assessment, feeding support and discharge education.

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary

Provides nursing care to obstetric patients through labor, delivery, recovery and the immediate postpartum period, and to newborns following birth. Performs continuous maternal and fetal monitoring, recognizes complications and intervenes appropriately. Supports patients and families throughout the birth experience and provides newborn and postpartum education.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required
• Labor and delivery or obstetric nursing experience: Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification: Required

Key Responsibilities
