Cynet Health is hiring an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery to support antepartum through postpartum care in a high-risk setting. The nurse will perform fetal monitoring, manage obstetric emergencies, and support neonates and mothers with postpartum care.

Requirements include an active RN license, 2+ years in high-risk L&D, and BLS/NRP/AWHONN Intermediate certifications. Night shifts (3x12) with 12-hour shifts are typical.

• Ability to perform non-stress tests, obstetrical triage, and sterile vaginal exams.
• Proficiency in recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and circulating for C-sections.
• Familiarity with postpartum care and breastfeeding support.
• Capability to perform neonatal resuscitation and APGAR scoring.
• Ability to administer various medications and IV therapy.

Description:The position requires a registered nurse with a focus on labor and delivery.Demonstrate experience in high-risk labor and delivery settings.Responsibilities include antepartum care and monitoring of fetal heart rates.Assist in the management of various obstetric emergencies.Perform IV therapy, including the administration of blood products.Engage in patient care practices for multiple gestations and other high-risk conditions.Support pain management procedures including epidural anesthesia and IV sedation.Provide postpartum care and breastfeeding support to new mothers.Care for neonates during assessments, including neonatal resuscitation.Utilize appropriate precautions and follow safety protocols.Maintain documentation standards as required by the organization.Participate in interprofessional collaboration and support services.Be prepared to float to mother-baby care as needed.Work as part of a team during periods of increased patient census.
