Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week traveler assignment in the Jacksonville area. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced unit, perform fetal monitoring, and assist with labor and delivery, including cesarean section circulation.

Active RN license and ACLS/NRP are required. The role involves every-other-weekend and holiday coverage, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform fetal monitoring and documentation in the unit's system (CPN/Meditech).
• Collaborate with obstetric team to support clinical workflow and patient satisfaction.

Description:Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy.Traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff.1+ years of experience acceptable.Unit specifics: 6 L&D beds and 15 postpartum beds.Patient ratios are 1:1-2.OB Tech available on the unit.Documentation system used is CPN/Meditech.Advanced skills are required for this position.Procedures performed on the unit include labor and delivery.The staff is characterized by long tenure and extensive experience.The facility has a Level II NICU and 24-hour hospitalist services.Unit-assigned anesthesia staff is available.The environment is supportive, with a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction.The community offers a variety of activities and attractions.The setting is conducive to both professional growth and personal enjoyment.This position provides opportunities to work with advanced equipment and technology.Candidates will find a family-like atmosphere within the team.
