Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for Labor and Delivery to support laboring patients and newborn care during a 13-week assignment in Wisconsin.

The role requires 2+ years in LDRP, RN licensure, and certifications in BLS/NRP with fetal monitoring expertise. Hospital shifts are 12-hour nights; 36 hours per shift with on-call support as needed.

Description:Are you interested in Clinical Interviewing?Candidates that meet the qualifications will be sent to the manager for a final interview.This role includes working with 32 weeks and above patients.The majority of patients are classified as lower risk.Common diagnoses include hypertension, magnesium administration, medication management for substance abuse, epidurals, elevated BMI, and diabetes.Post-delivery care will continue in the same room.RNs will be responsible for ongoing care after delivery.Experience with post-women's surgeries is preferred.Patient ratios are 1:1 during labor, 1:2 for active labor, and 1:3 for couplet. The support team includes Technicians and Health Unit Coordinators.Charge nurses will manage patient care.Anesthesia will always be on-call for the department.Nurse practitioners are available 24/7.Obstetricians are always on-call but may not be present in the unit.Respiratory therapy is available around the clock.Management support is available during regular hours.A lactation consultant will meet with every patient before discharge.Basic computer proficiency and strong customer service skills are essential.Preferred technology experience includes EPIC for electronic medical records and familiarity with IV pumps and monitoring systems.There are no floating requirements.Scheduling includes weekend rotations every fourth weekend.On-call duties are expected for surgical technicians, with a response time of 30 minutes.Holiday expectations require working every other holiday.Requests for time off is acceptable with a week's notice.Scrubs will be provided for the role.
