Job summary

Cynet Health seeks an experienced RN for L&D in Paoli, Indiana. This 13-week assignment requires a Registered Nurse with labor and delivery experience and the appropriate certifications.

The role includes three 12-hour night shifts and cross-unit coverage within the hospital and affiliates. Responsibilities include assisting with circumcision, C-sections, and external version, with Level 1 nursery and OB/delivery services present.

Responsibilities

Description:Experienced LDRP nurse preferred, but labor and delivery experience required.Shifts are scheduled as three 12-hour night shifts.Staffing ratios are 1:2 couplets.Unit has a Level 1 nursery and Level 1 OB/delivery services.Nurses will assist with circumcision, external version, and C-sections.Panda warmers with built-in Neo-puff and Philips fetal monitoring with wireless capability are available.Unit supports the OB Hemorrhage Cart for emergencies.All travelers will be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.Candidates will be expected to work two out of three major holidays.Previous charge experience is desirable.Charting system experience is preferred.Candidates should possess skills in assisting with sterile speculum exams, circulating for C-sections, and triaging obstetrical patients.Experience with starting and maintaining IVs and conducting sterile vaginal exams is crucial.Vaginal delivery experience is also necessary.Candidates must provide two supervisor references upon request.
