Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery in Edmonds, WA for a 13-week assignment. The role requires experience in Labor and Delivery and postpartum care, with the ability to float to other units as needed.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in vaginal and cesarean deliveries, circulating in the operating room, starting adult IVs, and administering blood products while monitoring patients and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Newborn care.
• Ability to float as needed.
• Knowledge of vaginal and cesarean delivery procedures.
• Circulating in the Operating Room and starting adult IVs is essential.
• Administer blood products and manage drains and epidural pumps.
• Preferred insulin drips and magnesium sulfate therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Float to other facilities as needed.
• Work with a range of patient diagnoses including normal newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetric and surgical teams to support deliveries and postpartum care.

Description:We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery.Candidates must have experience in Labor and Delivery and Post Partum care.The role requires knowledge of vaginal delivery and cesarean delivery procedures.Experience in circulating in the Operating Room and starting adult IVs is essential.You will also need to administer blood and blood products and manage drains and epidural pumps.Prior experience with insulin drips and magnesium sulfate therapy is preferred.The patient ratio is typically 1:1 to 1:3.This position will require working with various patient diagnoses including normal newborn care.Successful candidates must have strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.Floating to other facilities may be required depending on patient care needs.
