Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN - Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in a night-shift role. The position involves care for labor and delivery patients, antepartum and postpartum care, and collaboration with the care team to support high-risk obstetric cases.
Requirements include a valid state nursing license, 2+ years of RN experience, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM). Charge experience and charting system familiarity are preferred.

Must-Have:
Description:Responsible for caring for labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum patients.Experience in circulating for cesarean sections is necessary.Must be able to provide care for mother and baby.Adherence to protocols for patient care is essential.The role involves managing high-risk antepartum patients.Knowledge of breast feeding support and infant identification is required.Experience with infant assessments, including newborn hypoglycemia and APGAR scoring, is necessary.Must demonstrate skills in labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries.Knowledge of medication administration and intravenous therapy is required.Ability to educate parents on discharge procedures and infant care.Experience required in managing postpartum complications such as hemorrhage and shock.Interdisciplinary support and cooperation with team members are essential for positive patient outcomes.Must comply with safety and infection control standards.Willingness to work every other weekend is required.No on-call duties are associated with this position.Floating to other units is not required.
