The RN Internal Agency is a temporary full‑time assignment on Stepdown and Med/Surg units. This 13‑week assignment offers pay of $70.00/hour and requires nursing care of patients needing specialized judgment and skill.

• Provide practice excellence through specialized nursing assessment, care, evaluation and education to patients and families in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Education / Formal Training Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Analytical skills necessary to assess complex patient conditions and develop comprehensive plans of care; synthesis of multiple sources of information to resolve complex problems; skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques central to the nursing profession. Other certifications may be required depending on assigned nursing unit.

Supervision Provided

The registered nurse directs and delegates all patient‑care activities on nursing units.

Physical Demands

The position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. Medium work involving exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently. Close visual acuity. Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact. Exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
