Job description

This is a 13‑week temporary full‑time assignment for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Internal Agency on various specialty acute‑care units. The assignment includes a pay rate of $70.00 per hour and requires the RN to provide nursing care to patients who need specialized judgment and skill.

Supervision Provided by this Position

The Registered Nurse directs and delegates all patient care activities on nursing units.

Physical Demands

• Physical activities may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping and repetitive motion; must have good balance and coordination.
• Exertion up to 50 lbs. occasionally or up to 25 lbs. frequently.
• Requires close visual acuity including color, depth perception and field of vision for activities such as patient assessment, data analysis, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
• Frequent invasive and non‑invasive patient contact.
• Exposure to patient body fluids and to hazardous or poisonous materials.
• Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
