Heritage Care Center in Fairbury, Nebraska is seeking a dedicated RN Staff Development/Infection Prevention professional. This full-time role focuses on education, training, and infection prevention to support safe resident care and a healthy environment.

The candidate will lead orientation, monitor compliance, and provide guidance on outbreak management while partnering with staff and families. CPR certification and active nursing license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license (RN or LPN) required or preferred.
• CPR certification required or preferred.
• Experience in staff development, education, or infection prevention is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education for team members.
• Develop and monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and evidence-based practices.
• Track training, certifications, and education requirements.
• Conduct infection surveillance, monitoring, and reporting.
• Provide guidance on infection prevention strategies and outbreak management.
• Serve as a resource for staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning.
