Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN or LPN preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in staff development, education, or infection prevention preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement improvement initiatives.
• Commitment to quality care, resident well-being, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education programs for team members.
• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and evidence-based practices.
• Track required training, certifications, and education requirements.
• Conduct infection surveillance, monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Provide guidance and education regarding infection prevention strategies and outbreak management.
• Serve as a resource for staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning throughout the organization.
