Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license preferred.
• CPR Certification.
• Experience in long-term care and infection prevention preferred.
• Experience in staff development/education preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive improvements.
• Commitment to quality care, resident well-being, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education for team members.
• Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and evidence-based practices.
• Track training, certifications, and education requirements.
• Conduct infection surveillance, monitoring, and reporting.
• Provide guidance on infection prevention strategies and outbreak management.
• Serve as a resource for staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning.
