Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. This full-time role (36 hours/week) includes day and night shifts with weekend rotations and float as needed.

You will provide high-quality NICU/ISCU care, follow the nursing process, and supervise unlicensed staff while collaborating with the care team to improve outcomes and patient experience.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program graduate; BSN preferred.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA required.
• 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care independently in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and enhance patient experience.

Location: Evanston, IL

Hours: Full-time (36 hours/week), shifts from 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation; float as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care independently in the ISCU
• Utilize the nursing process for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Contribute to safety outcomes and enhance patient experience

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA required
• Current IL nursing license required
• At least 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience preferred
• NICU/ISCU experience is a plus
