Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. The role involves independent nursing care in ISCU, planning and evaluating patient care, and coordinating with unlicensed staff to deliver interdisciplinary care.

Requirements include NLN-accredited nursing program, BSN preferred, IL RN license, BLS/CPR, and 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience; NICU/ISCU experience is preferred. Full-time with rotating shifts and weekend coverage.

Qualificações

• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program required.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• Current IL RN licensure required.
• 1 year acute care nursing experience or ISCU experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, effective nursing care in ISCU.
• Apply nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Supervise assigned unlicensed personnel delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• SIGN ON BONUS: $25,000?Experience: .A minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.
• Position: Registered Nurse ? Infant Special Care Unit
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 1900-0730, with weekend rotation
• Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
