Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. You will provide specialized nursing care to NICU/ISCU patients, using the nursing process to plan and evaluate care, while guiding unlicensed staff and collaborating with the healthcare team.

The role offers a $25,000 sign-on bonus (18+ months NICU/ISCU experience required) and competitive hourly pay based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current IL Nursing License.
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA required.
• At least 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care independently in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety improvements and support high-quality patient experiences.
