Genesis in Farmington, Maine, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients/residents in a long-term care setting. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications, collaborating with the care team and families.

The role emphasizes ensuring smooth patient transitions, achieving realistic care goals, and clear communication across shifts. Must hold an active Maine RN license and CPR certification.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current RN license with the Maine State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
