Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Waterville, ME is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care for diverse diagnoses. You will perform comprehensive assessments, collaborate with the care team and families, and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed.
CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions and evaluation to minimize rehospitalizations.
Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
