Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) at Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine, to provide high-quality, person-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will work across short-term recovery and long-term care, administering medications, developing care plans, and supporting residents and families with compassion.

The role requires a nursing degree from an approved program, active state RN license, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
