Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee patient care in the IMCU/PCU setting. You will conduct assessments, recognize health issues, and create care plans while ensuring safe, effective delivery of care.

You will educate patients and families, delegate to the care team, and collaborate with colleagues to meet clinical goals. Requires RN licensure and BLS, with start-date timing per unit policy.

Qualifications

• RN experience in IMCU/PCU (level I or II trauma) preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
• Delegate tasks appropriately based on patient condition and team competency.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe, effective and timely care.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans to meet goals.
