Job summary

State of Washington – Monroe Correctional Complex in Monroe, WA seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, permanent RN2 position to support inmate health care at the Monroe facility. The schedule is 2:00PM-10:30PM Friday through Tuesday with Wednesdays and Thursdays off.

Salary includes a monthly range of $8,151–$13,362 and an hourly range of $46.84–$76.79, with eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Initial and ongoing licensure as a Registered Nurse in Washington state.
• CPR training completed (Healthcare Provider CPR).
• Proficiency with basic computer programs for scheduling, data entry, and emailing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to incarcerated individuals, promote health, and support coping with health conditions.
• Screen, assess, and monitor patients; respond to clinical requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Delegate and supervise tasks, coordinate care, and plan transitions or referrals as needed.
• Counsel, educate, and provide health information to improve health outcomes and safety.
