Job summary

HAN Staff is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Connell, Washington team. This role involves assessing patient conditions, developing care plans, administering medications, and coordinating care with physicians in a correctional healthcare setting.

Strong clinical skills and compassionate patient care are essential. The ideal candidate holds an active Washington RN license, has at least 1 year of recent RN experience, and can meet BLS and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Washington RN license.
• At least 1 year of RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Copies of PSV and required certifications (BLS, immunizations, TB test, etc.) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document assessments and outcomes in EMR.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients/families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Respond to emergencies and changes in condition.
• Perform wound care and IV therapy within scope of practice.
• Ensure infection control and compliance with policies.
