Medical City Denton is seeking a Staff RN for PACU to provide immediate postoperative care to surgical patients. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1 year of PACU experience, RN licensure, and completion of ACLS/BCLS/PALS within defined timeframes. On-call duties may apply and weekends rotate.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN PACU experience.
• RN (Registered Nurse); Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PACU using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia team to ensure safe postoperative recovery.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status; respond promptly to changes or complications.
• Document patient condition and treatments thoroughly; educate patients and families about care and follow-up.
