Job summary

Join the Sibley Memorial Hospital ICU Nursing team in Washington, DC as an ICU Registered Nurse. A newly opened ultramodern ICU supports adult and geriatric patients with life-threatening conditions.

The role features 12-hour day shifts, full-time (36 hours/week) in a 14-bed unit with potential expansion. Requirements include DC RN licensure, graduation from an accredited RN program, and experience with Level 1/2 care; ACLS/BLS/NIHSS and rapid response familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• DC RN license required.
• Graduation from an accredited RN program.
• Ability to care for patients requiring Level 1 and Level 2 care/monitoring.
• Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams experience.
• ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications.
• Prefer at least 2 years of current experience in the acute care setting.

Join our Sibley Nursing Team as an ICU RN!

A new, ultramodern intensive care unit (ICU) opened at Sibley Memorial Hospital on Oct. 4, 2023, on the second floor of the main patient tower. The ICU team specializes in the management of adult and geriatric medical and surgical patients who have or are at high risk for a variety of life-threatening conditions.

Position Details

• Intensive Care Unit: 14-bed unit with capacity to expand to 18 beds
• 12-hour Day shifts
• Full-Time, 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses.
• Ability to care for patients requiring Level 1 and Level 2 care/monitoring
• Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams experience
• ACLS/BLS/NIHSS
• Prefer at least 2 years of current experience in the acute care setting.

Salary Range: Minimum 43.25/hour - Maximum 67.04/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
