Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC, is seeking an Emergency Services Registered Nurse for the ED. This full-time role involves 36 hours weekly with rotating weekends, shift times 11a, 1p, and 3p, and opportunities for growth within the Johns Hopkins Health System.

Minimum DC RN licensure and an accredited nursing program completion are required; ADN accepted if enrolled in BSN/MSN within 1 year. Salary range is competitive with benefits.

With its 318 beds, this non-profit, full-service acute care hospital offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia

Applicants with an Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 43.25/hour - Maximum 67.04/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
