Job summary

Valley Health System seeks a Registered Nurse II for the Critical Care Step Down unit to deliver patient care using the nursing process and demonstrate leadership. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while maintaining high standards and coordinating with the health team.

The role requires RN licensure in the relevant state, BLS certification, and completion of mandatory competencies with possible BSN preference. On-site assignment with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Education at least RN Diploma/ASN/ADN is required.
• BSN is preferred but not mandatory.
• RN license is required with state eligibility where you will work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the nursing process with assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation.
• Direct, coordinate and implement patient teaching and safety initiatives.
