Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our obstetrics/gynecology and family medicine team.

Built for outpatient care, the role features a base salary range of $126,000 to $158,000 plus an annual incentive plan, with full benefits and a 8-5 schedule, Monday–Friday. OB patient care and prenatal services are key responsibilities, with Epic EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as NP/PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current NP or PA license in California with furnishing license

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).

Education

California NP license (Furnishing) or California PA license

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
