Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA, seeks an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing OB/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This is an outpatient, full-time opportunity with no after-hours call and a typical daytime schedule.

The role includes prenatal care, contraception services, and comprehensive evaluations, with Epic EMR used across the clinic. Competitive compensation includes base salary plus an incentive plan and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Women’s Health experience as NP/PA; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred.
• Epic EMR experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Provide contraception services (IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout pregnancy.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
