Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice.

The role is 100% outpatient with Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm hours, no after-hours call, and an average of 15–21 patients daily. You will perform comprehensive histories and physical exams, provide prenatal care, and manage contraception including IUD and Nexplanon, with Epic EMR used for charting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA (3+ years preferred)
• 1+ year OB experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon)
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
