Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the OB/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This 100% outpatient role offers hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with no after-hours call, and typically 15 to 21 patient visits per day, all using Epic EMR.

You will perform histories and exams, provide prenatal care, and offer contraception implants.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of obstetrics experience strongly preferred.
• Epic EMR system experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Provide prenatal care throughout pregnancy.
• Implant contraception (IUD, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and manage obstetric care.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Practice Information & Position Details

• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
