Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its outpatient Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine team.

This full-time position features a 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule, 100% outpatient care, no after-hours calls, with an average of 15–21 patients per day. Epic EMR is used. Base salary ranges from $126,000 to $158,000 annually, plus incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health as NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of Obstetrics experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Practice Information & Position Details

• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
