MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health NP/PA to join a growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. The role includes outpatient care, prenatal OB management, and contraceptive implant services, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no after-hours call.

The candidate will perform histories, exams, and test interpretations in a 100% outpatient setting. California NP/PA licensure, BLS, NPI, DEA, and board certification in Women’s Health are preferred, with

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in Women’s Health or related field as an NP or PA (3+ years preferred).
• 1+ year obstetrics experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all pregnancy stages.
• Implant contraception (IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
