Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and documentation.

You will administer medications, manage wounds, monitor vital signs, and participate in respiratory and ventilator care while coordinating discharge planning with the care team.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• ICU experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• BLS required.
• Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area.
• One to two years clinical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
• Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.
