Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is seeking an RN for Critical Care to join a skilled multidisciplinary team in Southern Kentucky. The role emphasizes coordination with physicians and flexible, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include medication administration, wound care, ventilator management, and comprehensive patient assessment. Strong documentation and discharge planning support will be expected as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in KY or compact state.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor wounds and vitals.
• Provide respiratory and ventilator management as needed.
• Coordinate care as primary liaison among disciplines.
• Document patient status and care plans in the system.
• Assist with discharge planning alongside the care team.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse is responsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limited to: assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, andmonitorvital signs.
• You will provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
• You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• You willmonitor, record, and communicate patient condition asappropriate utilizingcomputerized documentation systems.
• You will assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.

What qualifications you will need:

• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Bachelor\'s degree is preferred
• BLSrequired
• Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer fromnon ICUarea
• One to two years clinical nursing preferred
