Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU with a NY license, for a night shift assignment of 17 weeks. The role requires 2+ years of ICU experience, charge experience preferred, and familiarity with the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Manage various acute patient conditions in ICU.
• Care for adult ICU patients with interdisciplinary support.
• Assist with arterial line management and blood product administration.
• Ensure isolation precautions and dysrhythmia monitoring compliance.
• Collaborate with physical therapy, respiratory, and social services.

• Patient ratio experience of 2-3
• Must be within a 75-mile radius

Description:Must have New York license in hand.Weekend shifts required every other weekend.Floating to other units may be required.Charge experience is highly preferred.First-time travelers may be considered.Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.Experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit is preferred.Candidates must meet experience requirements.Candidates will be required to manage various acute patient conditions.Skills needed include arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, and emergency medications.Knowledge in interpretation of dysrhythmias and isolation precautions is essential.Ability to perform phlebotomy and manage PICC lines is necessary.Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring is a plus.The patient demographic includes adults and generally has a daily census of around seven.Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
