Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Seattle, WA. Day shift, 12-hour blocks, with a minimum 2 years of critical care experience and prior travel experience. Compact license accepted; ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certified.

Weekends required every other weekend; Epic charting experience mandatory. Responsibilities include care for cardiac ICU patients, floating to other ICUs as needed, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team while maintaining high-acuity care

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU nursing care focusing on cardiac ICU patients and overflow from other ICUs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in daily rounds.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and safety procedures.
• Monitor patients, interpret dysrhythmias and adjust cardiac drips as needed.
• Support unit management activities and ensure smooth patient flow.

Description:Candidates will provide nursing care in the ICU setting.The focus will be on caring for cardiac ICU patients and overflow from other ICUs.This includes caring for patients with complex needs related to cardiology.

Ratios in the unit are 1:2.Floating to other ICUs and areas is expected.Candidates may encounter patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.All candidates will adhere to infection prevention protocols.Experience with high-volume and high-acuity cases is preferred.Knowledge of ventilator management and critical care procedures is essential.Candidates must be capable of interpreting dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips.Candidates will collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team.Expect to participate in daily rounds and unit management activities.Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills with the healthcare team and patients.Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment are key.Professional conduct and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
